My mom died of cancer in 2005, I was there in the room holding her hand as she struggled to breathe.

I don't think it's weird at all to feel relief at someone passing. I did, a HUGE amount. Suffering is no kind of life.

I hope you get through this OK. Just remember to grieve, whatever that process might be for you.Jillianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09332366551719160397noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3722095573942466714.post-12389501462665075882008-02-18T23:28:00.000-06:002008-02-18T23:28:00.000-06:00Hey girl, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My Grandma died a few years ago and she too had Alzheimer's. My beautiful, proper, kind and loving grandma had turned into someone else. She would sit and stare saying incoherent things. It was sad to see her that way and I was glad to know she was in heaven back to her pre Alzheimer's self. I know your grandma is now free from this disease and is so incredibly happy.Caroleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16642047405234021952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3722095573942466714.post-89390784712371890402008-02-18T12:50:00.000-06:002008-02-18T12:50:00.000-06:00I'm so sorry for your loss. It has been hard, so I share in your sadness, but also in the relief that it brings to know that our loved ones are with the Lord. Peace be with you, KadiReedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13060403237575747965noreply@blogger.com
